Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor born the 31st of January 1974. She is best known for her role as Bo from the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the grandparents of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she plays the role of drama instructor on the drama department at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna's early memories were of going to the play school and watching her mother do her job. Silk was a part of numerous commercials for kids. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Her early theater experience includes at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to further her acting career in the month of November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated in the following decade to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman met Silk at an acting workshop located in Los Angeles, in 2007. The couple was engaged in 2009 and were married at an unofficial ceremony in was held in December. They renewed their vows on the 10th of April in Fredericton at the tradition of a Jewish wedding ceremony following Silk's converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to the son named Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second child was born the 13th of May, in 2016. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during filming the final episode of the third series. Silk announced her pregnancy to the fans in her Showcase Season Three pre-show special on 6 January 2013. Silk is working on Lost Girl since the season's third finale episode was conceived on January 6, 2013. She announced via Twitter that she would return to the show on June 4, 2013 when Showcase and Prodigy Pictures began production of the fourth. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite TV Couples.
