Srushti Deshmukh has started preparations for the UPSC entry in her 3rd year in engineering. During her graduation she was unsure if she could be happy working in an engineering position. The answer became more clear after she began focusing on the civil service. The parents of her encouraged her to concentrate on civils, and find an employment that would benefit the general public. She remained motivated and determined to become an IAS Officer. You need to put in more effort to get UPSC. She prepared for UPSC topics while studying her engineering. Everyday she carved out time for exam preparation. In just 1 and 1/4 months, she was studying for engineering exams, and avoided any social interaction. Her belief is that staying focused only on the work at hand is the key to passing this test. She was committed to passing the test and made a great amount of work. Daily, she would read the newspapers to stay abreast of current affairs. She also got a lot of support online by collecting various studies materials, and also taking in Rajya Sabha TV.
